kristin mccartney lived in Europe most of her life where she was immersed in culture and every day was a study in nature as she looked around at the mountains and valleys that she called home. with the changes of season came another interpretation, another view, another inspiration. her childhood is where her love of nature and beauty was formed and started to grow, driving her to always love and long for things rare, unique, inspiring, and ever-changing. life brought her to New York where she became immersed in fashion. the diverse, intense, and urban life added to her creative passions and from this she chose her outlet to be creating jewelry. she created because she needed to let out all the passion that she had inside. she created so that others could have a piece of this passion and wear something that inspires them. her pieces are inspiring because they come from inspiration. they are beautiful because she takes in beauty. they are not an accessory, they are wearable art.

adriana dehring had been working in retail management for most of her adult life. she was an excellent manager but in her heart she knew that she wanted to follow a more creative path, a path that would give her creativity an outlet and expose her to beauty every day. typically choosing the path less traveled, her life has made her a resident in many states but the one that still holds her heart is Colorado. if you ask her what it is that makes Colorado special, she will start a very long list that is full of expression and passion that will actually make you consider moving there yourself whatever your circumstances may be. when she thinks back to hiking and camping in the mountains or sitting atop the foothills at night gazing at the city, she can’t help but take a deep breath as she relives the effect of the raw beauty that surrounded her. reminiscing her many trips through the canyons and across the continental divide, her soul feels refreshed and revived as it did those many years ago. those memories and emotions stirred up her inner creativity. that creativity needed an outlet. she met kristin. they started JoCoCo Jewelry.

Kristin McCartney started managing the art department and converting department at a textile company in 1999 in Manhattan and living in New York where she was engulfed in fashion. Her interest in creating jewelry started as just a hobby, and for the next 10 years, she would continue to create unique jewelry for family and friends. But her natural ability to create pieces that truly captivated with their mix of colors and unique designs beckoned her to make this a more serious pursuit.

Adriana had been working in retail management for high end boutiques, then left the corporate world to manage a start-up online children’s boutique where she help form and solidify with implementing policies and strategies that she had learned from her years in retail management. Working for the online boutique allowed her to learn SEO which she quickly excelled at. She has a strong business sense for both front-end and back-end strategies as well as the intricacies of online businesses.

Sally Fougerousse was born in Aurora, Illinois in 1945. In 1981 she moved to Rome, Italy starting a lifelong journey through Europe. In the spring of 2001 Fougerousse started managing Signor Gioacchino Corveddu’s jewelry shop in Castel Gandolfo and making jewelry designs of her own. She worked in his shop until 2004. Since then Fougerousse has been working with Corveddu on numerous projects including the latest venture of importing Corveddu’s hand stamped jewelry to the United States to sell exclusively through JoCoCo Jewelry.
